English Martyrs v Highfield

 

We start off strongly with Euan getting one almost from the kick off and the Freddie nearly joining the scoresheet a few seconds later but hits the side netting.

Cheeky one from Freddie a few minutes later and then Euan fires home another.

Euan does a lovely 1 2 1 with Samuel and bangs another home for his hat trick

Archie joins the scoresheet

Lovely run down the wing from Freddie to take it past a few defenders and they get a sixth. 

They get one back to make the final score 6-1.

 

English Martyrs v St Michaels

 

It’s a 50/50 game with both sides making headway up the field and a game that could go either way. They have a lovely cross from Matthew on their left wing into Tyler who almost boots Sam through the goal.

1-0 to them

Austin uses his pace to tear up the right wing and pull one back with some lovely footwork.

Sam McG is solid in nets and saves a good few chances and even a couple of rebounds, sterling work from the keeper. 

Couple of opportunities for Henry and Dexter but unfortunately none converted. 

They get another which makes it 2-1 to them and although we have a few more chances, they full time result is 2-1 to St. Michaels. 

 

Great work from all the lads, some lovely passing football and great camaraderie.
