The school gates open at 8.40am every morning until 8.50am.  Children arrive within that 10 minute window and go straight to their classes to begin their learning. The school gate closes at 8:50am and the register is taken in class. 

At the end of the school day, gates open at 3.10pm to admit parents. Children are dismissed at 3.15pm 

This is 6.5 hours a day, 32.5 hours a week.
